If you’re a coffee lover and have a LINE APP, then you’ve a great place to go in the future. LINE app is planning to expand its business but this time not in the digital industry but coffee business. After Hello Kitty, it’s time for LINE to step into the coffee shop business with True as a partner in Thailand.

Although, there wasn’t any news on when the coffee shop will open….however, it’s good news that it will soon be open in Siam square. Well, who doesn’t want to talk to friends and family while sipping lattes? Line is working hard to improve their phone service which will put them in the same position as Viber or Skype.

LINE definitely has a taste and is growing exponentially in Asia. It has 560 million registered users as of (10/09/14). One of the toughest businesses in a social network/social chat APP is the profit but I guess LINE has considerable success in social network/chat business in terms of revenue through the sales of official LINE account and sale of stickers.

LINE is also looking for a comeback in China after being blocked in China because of the internet censorship in the country.

“We are very optimistic about reopening our service,” said Shin Jungho, CEO of Line Plus on Wednesday. “I cannot open today. I just want to say in the near future, I think we can open our service again.”

Shin made the comments on the sidelines of the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, China.
