There are many restaurants in Bangkok and each one of them is special and unique on their own day. One of them is also the well-known restaurant Benjarong. Their large menu is a real mixture of traditional Thai food with some touch of modern European flavor which gives a unique impression to each person who ever tried their amazing dishes.
Their menu starts with with a traditional tom yum goong served tableside with crispy catfish salad, green mango, crabmeat and tom yum custard, later when it comes to the main course it moves to sous-vide duck breast with aubergine, chinese chives and crispy wonton, or seared tiger prawn with cauliflower, satay spice and peanuts and it ends with some amazing dessert such as basil ice cream with compressed fresh pineapple and salty meringue and much more desserts that you can ever imagine!
And all that thanks to their chef Morten Nielsen!
When it comes to the drinks, there is wide choice as well. There are not only some old extravagant wines with origin from France, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and of course Thailand, but they also serve complimentary lotus flower-scented ice teas.
The décor and the ambient in Benjarong holds its own message as well, they really want to keep the Thai roots and take the customers back in the ancient Thai times, when everything seemed to be way more relaxing than the life we lead today in the 21st century.
The staff is extremely nice and professional and they always make sure that the customers get the service they deserve which makes this restaurant even more attractive than it already is. Another interesting thing to mention about this restaurant while we talk about its clients is that it seems that Benjarong is especially attractive to the foreigners because the majority of them are not Thai which is quiet surprising.
However, what makes this restaurant even more special are its extremely affordable prices!
It is even shocking how affordable they are considering the fact that the food offered there is a real masterpiece! It is literally priceless!
So in case you are visiting Bangkok or you are living here, but still haven’t visited this amazing restaurant- make sure you check it out because trust me, it will go further beyond your best expectations!
