Alongside the world-class golf action it delivers, Honda LPGA Thailand has initiated fund raising activities which contribute to environmental causes as well as various charity foundations from which proceeds go to charitable organizations. A children’s golf clinic offers youngsters the chance to learn techniques and golf tips from pro golfers, while a Charity Night auction raises funds for SOS Children’s Villages Thailand by auctioning off memorabilia items donated by the golfers.
Another project is Honda LPGA Thailand Young Ambassador, which gives youths the opportunity to be involved in a world-class event. The aim here is to enhance the learning capacity of youth through a work experience approach, which they can apply in everyday life and in preparing for the future.
