In Bangkok always something is going on. Sometimes there are a lot of events in the same time that you really have no a idea which one you should choose and go for.  So here are the best events in Bangkok this March that you should definitely take into consideration:

1. 1600 Pandas

1600 Pandas will “attack” Bangkok this March thanks to a project led by artist Paolo Grangeon which goal is to raise people’s awareness about panda conservation. All these pandas, in fact, are not real pandas and they are made by paper. The interesting thing is that there will be exactly 1600 paper panda figures as a symbol of the the 1600 pandas which are currently living in the wild world- which is a pretty low number. They will be moving around the city in places like Lumpini Park, CentralWorld, BACC etc. till the Central Embassy. Don’t miss it! It sure will be cuteness overload!

2. All That Glitters

All That Glitters is an art exhibition made by the American photographer Adam Birkan whose goals are to capture economic disparity in Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong. This will be Birkan’s first solo exhibition in Asia.

3. Danse Macabre

Another art exhibition which would be like paradise for the eyes. This art exhibition would be run by Parparhn Sirima Chaipreechawit which captures the people of Kathmandu post earthquake. Each one of the photographs are in black and white eerie maze-like quality.

4. 9FilmFest Screening

9FilmFestScreening has a 4 years long tradition in Bangkok and this year is not an exception either. This year this film festival received entrants from 92 countries with 9 minute films. There will be 9 finalists in different categories which will be screened.

8. LOL Market

For all the fashionistas this must be the event number 1 in Bangkok this March because here they could find even stalls of over 160 brands. The theme of the market would be “Swinging 60’s”.
