The research done by Thailand Pesticide Action Network proved that the organic food in Thailand found high residues of pesticides. Doctors in Thailand suggest people not to eat fresh vegetables, as it is likely to have high level of chemicals. Some fruits like mandarin and cucumbers contain banned chemicals like carbofuran and methomyl which are unsafe.
The findings on the chillies are more shocking, 100% of them were contaminated. Chillies are a major ingredient in Thai food used in every dish. High percentage of chemicals were found in Kale, string beans and Thai dishes like Pad krapow.
The test were conducted by a UK based laboratories.
