Ratchanok the star badminton player of Thailand tested positive in Badminton Asia Championship in Wuhan, China last month, however the Badminton Association of Thailand dismissed the reports as they have not received anything (no reports issued to the Thai authorities yet) from the World’s Badminton Federation.

The BAT also insisted the country to support and give her confidence before the Olympics in Rio next month.

The 21 year old Yasothon born star is one of Thailand’s biggest hopes to win the first gold medal in Badminton in 2016 Olympics in Rio next month. She reached quarter finals in the last Olympics in London in 2012 where she lost to China’s Wang Win.

Currently Ratchanok ranks number 4 in the Women’s Singles behind China’s LI Xuerui and one ahead of India’s Saina Nehwal who is also a strong contender for Gold.
