On 22nd July, a blue Toyota Soluna slams into the Erawan Shrine in Ratchaprasong road and left 6 people injured.
The driver lost control of the car when she had a seizure. The driver had a 20 year old daughter along with her and the identity of both of them is not published. The driver is admitted in Bangkok Christian Hospital for further treatment.
6 people injured in the accident were:

- 2 Singaporeans
- 1 Thai
- 1 Chinese
The Erawan shrine is a popular touristic place in the heart of the city.
Last year the shrine had a bombing incident that left 20 dead and left the city in havoc.
