A 3 year old toddler was attacked by stray dogs in front of a 7-eleven in Soi Thakam, Rama 2 road. The woman showed her frustration to the government by posting pics of her wounded granddaughter who suffered multiple injuries on her face and eye. Furthermore, she questioned that the government should also issue a new law to protect humans from the stray dogs.
People expressed mixed thoughts but mostly agreed to the lady’s thoughts and call for action.
Thailand has at least 30,000 stray dogs and one of the largest organizations helping them out is Soi Dog Foundation who help rescue homeless dogs into new homes and they do not charge any fees for it. Donations are accepted via credit card or PayPal.
People have stepped up instead and given joy to the stray dogs in Thailand and one of them was a young man named Sortsart Wisetsin who used to wash the stray dogs. (Video below).
Thailand has a major problem of stray dogs and there has been leniency towards this by the authorities.
