Japanese, Swede and Russian Beaten and Robbed In Pattaya, News

Three tourists were beaten and robbed in Pattaya on Friday morning.

Takayuki Kameyama, 41, was robbed by two Thai men at 2:30 a.m in LK Metro road. He suffered a deep cut in his mouth.

A Swede, who tried to help Mr. Kameyana during the assault was also knocked down on the scene but was later given first aid. The assaulters roobed THB 5,000 and ran away.

About 6 am in the morning a Thai man brought a Russian woman Laila Ibrahimova to local police who was seen weeping in Jomtien area looking for help. She hired a motorbike taxi driver from the Walking street but the driver took on a road side where he snatched her bag and took $100 and THB 140. She suffered cuts and bruises after the pushed her to the ground and ran away with her bag which contained important documents, money and mobile phone.

Police is investigating the matter and checking surveillance cameras to find out the motorbike taxi driver.
