Why not visit the Sunflower Festival in Nakorn Sawan province, only a three hours drive from Bangkok?! The sunflowers are now blooming, painting the horizon in Takfa District with different shades of yellow. Additionally, the city is also hosting various festivities for visitors from now until the end of January.
Spreading over almost 4,000 acres of land, sunflowers are now blooming to welcome Thailand’s warm winter. The beauty is simply breathtaking, and will undoubtedly blow you away. Every year beginning from late December, Nakorn Sawan welcomes large number of visitors coming to witness the beauty. Locals recommend that visitors arrive early, as the sunflowers bloom to greet the morning sunrise. Furthermore, there are various amenities offered such a bike rental, walking street, and local arts and products exhibitions as well.
From Bangkok, head towards In Buri District, Singburi Province until you see a sign directing towards Tak Fa District. After you spot the sign, turn right towards Lopburi for about 8 km. Then, you’ll arrive at an intersection heading towards Por-teung Fields. Follow the signs for about 2-3 km, sunflower fields will be visible from time to time along the way.
