The food at Sandro’s can be described as, honest. It is all made with natural ingredients, with no flavor enhancers, dough improvers, or other artificial additives. The complex flavor of the crust is achieved naturally, by a particular way of preparing and fermenting the dough.
Even though the pizzas are quite large, at 13”, one person (with a good appetite) can eat a whole pizza and not feel bloated afterwards. This is because the yeast has already done much of the digesting of the sugars and starch, present in the dough, during the fermentation process. This reduces the work load, for our stomachs. Sandro’s Pizzas are made using Mother Dough, rather than commercial yeast. The Mother Dough is a key ingredient, for achieving the flavor and texture of the dough.
