Bangkok Police offers kids free riders to their school

Yes. Yes, you read it right!

A heavy traffic jam is expected as the new school semester opens. To all the parents who are worried about this, here is the good news to you. Our Bangkok police are offering their free motorcycle service to safely drop your kids to school within the five designated destinations.

According to National Police Assistant Chief Police Lieutenant General Damrongsak Kittiprapas, this is in line with the Project Song Nong Teung Rongrian (Sending Kids to School). Bangkok police are expected to provide free rides to students covering the areas of Ploenchit Tollway’s exit ramp, Silom Tollway’s exit ramp, Victory Monument Tollway’s exit ramp, the area under Rama 4 Tollway, and the Tang Hua Seng U-Turn point.

Among the traffic police spotted outside the Bangkok Christian College on Sathorn Road are deputy traffic police chief Police Major General Jirasan Kaeosaeng-ek, traffic police commander Police Major General Nihithorn Jintakanon, and other traffic police officials who are conducting the inspection of the free school rides.

In a separate interview, Bangkok Christian College director Supakit Jitklongsap shared that he would soon be introducing a smartphone application to students to be used for their safe travel to school.
