The weekend market is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 – 18:00 and on Friday which is called as wholesale day it is open from 18:00 – 24:00. Plant and flowers sections are also open on Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 – 18:00.

You can get to Chatuchak market through couple of routes. Take BTS to Mo chit station and take the exit no.1, most of the crowd will be rushing towards Chatuchak market as well so follow them until you see a small entrance to the market. Another possible way is by taking MRT to Chatuchak Part station and then takes exit no 1.

Few shops such as Spice Boom, N & D Tablewares and Ton-Tan are famous for their different furniture and decoration equipment. Popular memorabilia of brand such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi tin, glasses and can opener can be found. Vendors will sweetly focus on saying they are giving you the best and cheapest price, but you can surely bargain with the price and most of the time they will lower the price. Especially if buying couple of products from one shop make sure you cut the price they saying. Although some items have fixed price but most of it are in bargain margin. Use the negotiation skills at your best and prepare to walk away if it doesn’t fall your way, there are plenty of shops selling similar stuff so you would surely be able to grab at other stall.
