Police arrested four people selling fake degrees and certificates online via website and Facebook page.

The suspects claimed that people usually order Mathyom 3, Mathyom 6 and Office of Non-formal and informal education according to Bangkok Post.

In order to cope up with the growing scandals of falsifying degrees and university certificates the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society is also developing an online website where businesses could verify degrees within 1 to 2 days.
The source estimated that fake certificates are widely used, and the gangs charge from 5,000 baht to 100,000 baht for Mathyom 3 certificates to University degrees.
